The Fort Wayne Black Expo team won first place at the Union Baptist Church 16th annual Black Knowledge Bowl with a score of 445 points. The team consisted of Alandra Green, Nygeria Smith, Christian Martinez "Chico", and Staniko "Niko" Hannah. The team was the only one without an adult participant.
