This is the tale of John Henry from the railroad story. Legend goes that John Henry was a freed slave. John took his only son out looking for work, searching for a new life for them. He heard about railroad work and thus his story begins.

Gideon’s Army - Showtime: 12:00 PM

Gideon’s Army follows the personal stories of Travis Williams, Brandy Alexander and June Hardwick, three young public defenders who are part of a small group of idealistic lawyers in the Deep South challenging the assumptions that drive a criminal justice system strained to the breaking point.

The Retrieval - Showtime: 1:50 PM

In 1864, on the outskirts of the Civil War, a boy is sent by a bounty hunter gang to retrieve a wanted freedman and bring him back to the South, but as they begin to form an unexpected bond, the boy must face a gut-wrenching decision.

Hidden Colors 2: The Triumph of Melanin - Showtime: 3:00 PM

"Hidden Colors 2" is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed 2011 documentary about the untold history of people of African and aboriginal descent. This installment goes into topics such as the global African presence, the science of melanin, the truth about the prison industrial complex, how thriving Black economic communities were undermined in America, the hidden truth about Native Americans, and much more.
