2020 Indiana University
Education Conference
On April 4th, in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we made the decision to shift this year’s conference to a virtual format. We put together a full agenda for educators, sponsors and partners which involved producing eleven webinars over the course of three days.
As a result, educators, administrators and students were able to join virtually from the safety of their homes. One of the most comprehensive educational summits in the country became one of the most accessible. Registration for this new virtual Education Conference was almost seven times the normal attendance, including international attendees and representatives from 46 states. Minority Small Business Series
presented by KeyBank
Black-owned business owners have been hit especially hard by the pandemic and shutdowns. IBE, with the support of many sponsors and volunteer experts, provided a year-round webinar series for start-up and existing small businesses on topics such as the legalities of starting your own business, business formation, access to capital, how to write a business plan, and marketing during COVID-19. 11 total webinars were produced during the series, each available for playback after the live event.
