IBE Black Business Training Institute

The IBE Black Business Training Institute (BBTI) is a free business management program created to help small business owners strengthen and grow their enterprises. Training sessions focus on practical, immediately applicable skills, with top performers eligible for monetary rewards, growth grants, and continued support after completing the program. The program aims to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and relationships needed to increase revenues and help close the wealth gap.

Business Conference

The Business Conference offers real and meaningful opportunities for small, black, brown, women, veterans, and disabled business owners. Every year we host key decision-makers who share business development initiatives and multi-million dollar contracting opportunities. Past conferences have included established executives and business owners sharing insights on doing business with public, private, and international companies. The annual conference includes the Mayor’s Breakfast and a Lunch & Learn.

Small Business Series

The IBE Small Business Series is a webinar program created in partnership with the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) to provide minority business owners with practical, expert-led business education. Sessions cover a wide range of topics — from starting a business and financial health to marketing, banking relationships, and accessing capital — featuring real minority business owners sharing their experiences through panel discussions. Whether you’re just getting started or already running a business, the series offers accessible, engaging resources to help you grow and succeed.
