Indiana Black Expo Names New Board Chair & Board Members

Indianapolis – Indiana Black Expo, Inc. (“IBE”) announced today that it has elected Attorney Rinzer Williams, III from Gary, Indiana as the 2020 Board Chairman.  IBE also elected two new at-large board members – Attorney Andrew J. Mallon from the Central Region and Mary L. Cossey from the Northern Region.

About Attorney Rinzer Williams, III

Rinzer Williams, III owns the Law Office of Rinzer Williams, III & Associates in Gary, Indiana.  Attorney Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Valparaiso University in 2000 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2005.  He has served on the IBE Board of Directors and as the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee.  Attorney Williams also serves on the Genesis Convention Center board and the Board of Zoning Appeals for the city of Gary.

About Attorney Andrew J. Mallon

Attorney Andrew J. Mallon is currently employed as the Executive Director of the Capital Improvement Board.  Attorney Mallon graduated with honors from the College of William and Mary in 1998 and J.D. Cum Laude from the Indiana University School of Law in May of 2001.  Attorney Mallon’s professional and community service include the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association, Broad Ripple Haverford Little League and Indianapolis Bar Association Board of Directors.

About Mary L. Cossey

Mary L. Cossey is currently the Gas Operations Manager for NIPSCO in South Bend, Indiana.  Ms. Cossey’s footprints include East Chicago, Gary, Michigan City and South Bend.  Ms. Cossey is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, The Links of Northern Indiana, and the Northwest Indiana Leadership Council of UNCF.

Two new Chapter Affiliate Directors – Norman Rayford from Anderson and Kristi Upchurch from Kokomo – will also join IBE’s board in 2020.
