Jean Poole

E Cubed Performance LLC

Jean is the CEO, founder, and chief performance officer of E Cubed Performance LLC, a leadership training and development company, located in metro Indianapolis. She co-founded her first leadership training company in 1998, The PLINC Organization, where she and her team designed, delivered, and trained trainers via live and virtual workshops around the world for 10 years. She brings 20 years of experience as a Vice President of Sales, a Market Development director, and a Corporate training leader for three of the top 10 Pharmaceutical firms and the top market research firm in the world. She has designed curricula for 100s of programs as a corporate trainer and for her own two firms.

She brings another 5 years of recently owning a multi-year, award-winning insurance agency. Where her office led the country in Bank and Financial Service products, including Retirement and Investment portfolios.

Jean is a certified Minority and Woman-owned business for city, county, and state contracts, as well as an SBA WOSB, eligible for Federal Government contracting.

Adam Hoeksema

Executive Director, Bankable

Adam serves as the Executive Director ofBankable. Bankable is a Small Business Administration (SBA) lender that makes loans from $500 to $250,000 to Indiana small businesses that are unable to secure financing from a traditional bank. Adam has managed the loan program since loan #1 in 2010. Since 2010, Bankable has closed over 1,600 loans totaling over $46,000,000.Adam is also the Co-founder of ProjectionHub which is a web application that helps entrepreneurs create financial projections for their business.

Rick Proctor

Executive Director, Entrepreneur Services and BOI

As Executive Director of BOI, Proctor oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations, which includes services like free one-on-one business coaching, workshops, and small business loans to over 1,400 entrepreneurs in the Indy Region annually. Proctor provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction for BOI, with an emphasis on growing BOI’s small business loan program. Prior to joining the Indy Chamber team, Proctor served as Vice President at BMO Harris Bank. In addition to his success in the banking and finance industry, Proctor has demonstrated extensive leadership skills through his community development efforts on Indianapolis’ west side.

Keia Walker

Director of Lending, BOI

Zikeia (Keia) Walker serves as our Director of Lending here at BOI . She manages all loan administration functions along with underwriting loan requests.

Prior to her current position, Keia served as a Senior Lending Assistant in the micro-finance industry at LiftFund, a microlender that provides business financing needs and technical assistance to entrepreneurs.

Originally from South Bend Indiana, Keia graduated from Indiana Business College in 2007 then relocated to Houston, Texas to start her career as a Fraud Investigator with First Data/ Telecheck.

When Keia is not at work she enjoys spending time with family, skating, shopping, giving back to the community and traveling.

Angela Blackwell

Business Advisor, Indiana Small Business Development Center

Angela Blackwell has worked in various industries throughout her career, including public accounting, K-12, higher education, and held several executive roles in both public and private companies. She started and operated several businesses and understands the challenges business owners face throughout all the phases of running a business. Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Delta State University, an MBA in Finance from Butler University, and is working on her doctorate in business at Franklin University. Angela is a Business Advisor with the Indiana Small Business Development Center where she provides one-on-one consultations and conducts training workshops.
